2010 Season - Week 23

Arian Foster

This year’s Trading Day One saw two owners who could have selected the 2010 BUMS MVP before Johnnie. With pick two Craig cut Rashard Jennings replacing him with Mike Tolbert who went on to score 44 points. With pick four Cheryl needed a running back as well but selected Jets Tight End Dustin Keller who had scored 5 TDs in 5 weeks. Sadly he never scored again. Two picks later Johnnie replaced rookie CJ Spilller with Foster and in the second round Cheryl replaced LenDale White with Jason Snelling who had scored 3 TDs by Trading Day One. If Cheryl had selected Foster she would have finished equal fourth on 434 points instead of being relegated. Without the CJ Spiller cut Johnnie would have also had 434 points. It Could Have Been So Different Well not in the Conference, but without Trading Day Johnnie would have been seventh not first and Marcus would have won the Premiership instead of finishing seventh. Marcus had disasterous trades finishing at minus 50 after dropping Mike Wallace for Randy Moss and Garrett Hartley for Mike Nugent. Chief is kicking himself after Trading Day Two. Nate Kaeding had missed three and a half games with an injury so Chief decided to cut him for Rob Bironas. Across the rest of the season Kaeding totalled 70 points outscoring Bironas by 28 points, Chief lost the Premiership to Johnnie by 15 points! At the bottom Cheryl and Daz would still have gone down but Craig’s swap of Tolbert for Jennings and Brandon Lloyd for Greg Camarillo was enough to see him stay up while George’s status quo resulted in him not surviving as Craig, Andy H (+42) and Johnnie all passed him. Trades benefited 9 owners including Johnnie at plus 113, Chief and Craig (+62 each) and Wayne and Cheryl (+46 each). Without trades the tables would have looked like this:- PREMIERSHIP actual finish CONFERENCE actual finish 1 Marcus 470 =7 1 Mark 499 1 2 Wayne 439 3 2 David S 420 2 3 Chief 435 2 3 Ron 394 3 4 Aaron 428 4 --------------------------------- 5 AP 427 5 4 Dave G 381 4 6 George 400 9 5 John 272 5 7 Johnnie 399 1 8 Andy H 382 6 ---------------------------------- 9 Craig 358 =7 10 Daz 324 11 11 Cheryl 320 10 One final newsletter next week to include the weekly graph & leading points scorers.
